PAWS FOR LIFE has given me an opportunity to make a positive contribution to society while I am incarcerated, and to truly feel like I am making a difference. The daily interaction with the dogs, whether it is feeding, walking, training or just playing with the dogs enhances our lives. I can’t believe sometimes, that I actually have a real dog walking with me, or playing, or simply laying at my feet while I write this.

I look forward to each day, and what it may bring, as we do all that we can to insure that our dogs are placed with their forever families. It brings such joy to be a part of such a positive and valuable program.
