My name is Yonatan and I joined Paws For Life K9 Rescue because I wanted to be part of this positive program. I also want to learn how to work with dogs and gain insight from the lessons they can teach us. Each one of us is assigned to a team and we must rely on each other to ensure the needs of our dog come first. This is important because I have a son and I want to teach him how to properly train a dog, care for a dog, and—most importantly—how to appreciate the unconditional love a dog gives. My son and I will be the ‘training team’ when I earn the privilege of returning home, and PFL will have played a role in making sure that he understands that no distance between us will ever break up our team.
