“I was initially drawn to the Paws For Life Program because I wanted to do something positive. I wanted to give my tome to caring, nurturing and training these amazing dogs to give them a second chance at finding a good home, but the reality is – these dogs have taught me so much more than what I’ve done for them! They taught me not to be judgmental and to love unconditionally. They taught me patience, responsibility, discipline and empathy. These dogs have been the most rewarding teachers in my journey to bettering myself. I am thankful to them for helping me find my humanity and in turn rediscovering myself.”
