“When I first arrived at this facility, I was initially reluctant to join Paws For Life because I was afraid of falling in love with a dog only to watch him or her leave. However, to love, even in the face of eventual loss, is too important a human experience to shy away from – especially in such a restrictive environment as prison. I therefore feel incredibly fortunate for this opportunity to participate in PFL.”
