My name is Tamarris and I’m a 40-year-old first termer. I’m a huge animal lover and I grew up with dogs as a child. I joined this program because I believe that it is important to give back for the harm I have caused, and Paws For Life K9 Rescue (PFL) gives me that chance. Moreover, this program gives men the rare opportunity—despite these harsh surroundings—to reconnect with their humanity. The members of PFL have accepted me with open arms and it’s a powerful way to feel a part of something bigger than myself. I ‘m eager to learn everything I can and help mentor those that come after me.
