Occupation: Dog Trainer

When I think what the Paws for Life program means to me, I first thin about all the dogs that were brought here and what their story is. Were they abused? Were they abandoned or lost? How did they end up here? Whatever the reason, they are here so they can get rehabilitated and one day integrated back with a loving person or family.
I give thanks to CDCR (California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation) for taking a chance on a program like this, as well as the volunteers inside and outside that use their time and resources to make the PFL program work. To me this program is more than rehabilitating dogs. The CDCR, the volunteers outside and inside all come together for one common goal, to rehabilitate people’s best friend back into our loving communities.
