My name is Robert Ivarra and I’m 31-years-old. My wife and children are very important to me and I wanted to be a part of something they could be proud of—despite my circumstances. I want them to see that I’m using my time away to become a better human being. Paws For Life is a compelling way to show them that I’m dedicated to helping rescue another being, and using every moment to learn from my past mistakes. I love working with these incredible dogs and teammates, and these experiences are going to make me a better father and husband. I have enormous gratitude for this program.
