My name is Raymond Graham and I joined Paws For Life because I wanted to experience something outside of my normal comfort zone, and to learn new things and grow as a person. I grew up with pit bulls and they were always my best friend, however—now that I have been in the program and learned some of the many training techniques—I can look back and recognize some of the behavioral issues my own dogs had. PFL allows me to play a role in training dogs (especially my favorite dogs, pit bulls) and teaching them what it means to have structure and consistency in their lives. Helping make our dogs more adoptable, means that I’m helping to save another being—and, to be honest, that feels amazing.
