Perry

My name is Perry and I have been incarcerated for 11-years. Growing up, I had a dog named Bonnie and she was my heart. This dog was truly intuitive and could tell when I needed her love and simply never left my side. Sadly, I lost Bonnie when she escaped from our yard and was hit by a car. This pain is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone, and—although I didn’t know it at the time—I would develop a need to help rescue dogs. This opportunity came when I heard about Paws For Life and I submitted my application as soon as it hit my hands. Joining this program will allow me to help rescue dogs and train them to stay by their family’s side—never having the impulse to run wildly in the streets. I will dedicate myself 100% to PFL and my teammates.
