My name is Paul (Samir) and I have been incarcerated for 31-years. I grew up with a lot of dogs and they have always had an impact on my life. They taught me unconditional love at an early age and I wish I had taken heed to that valuable lesson. Instead, I made many poor decisions and wound up in prison at the age of 18-years-old. I finally made a positive decision and got on the right path through Islam. My transformational journey led me here to Paws For Life and I’m eager to play a role in rescuing dogs and helping them find forever homes. I’m grateful for this opportunity and you can be sure that their lesson of unconditional love will not fall on deaf ears—this time.
