Larry

Occupation: Dog Trainer

location: Vacaville

My name is Larry and I came to CMF in 1995 and I was diagnosed my lymphatic Hodgins cancer and I was on chemotherapy for eleven months—it nearly killed me. That brush with death taught me the value of life and the importance of caring for others. A year later I started working in the dental lab and that has remained for the past 22-years. While satisfying, I knew I needed to do more in terms of my rehabilitation and making amends for the harm I have caused. I grew up with dogs in the real world and when I heard about the dog program, I knew it was the chance I needed to satisfy the goals I mentioned above. Working with PFL dogs is simply the best way for me to give back and grow as a person. I’m truly thankful for this program and I look forward to helping rescue as many dogs as humanly possible.
