Julius

May name is Julius but everyone calls me Rob. I’m 32-years-old and this is my first time in prison. Fortunately, I discovered a program like Paws For Life that will allow me to participate in something positive, while simultaneously giving back to the community I once harmed. I had a variety of dogs all my life—everything from pit bulls to Chihuahua—and they have played a huge role in childhood. What I didn’t know, is that dogs could teach me more than I could them. Working with these amazing animals, not only allows me to play a role in their rescue, it also allows me to work on rescuing myself from the man I once was. The devotion, love, and patience I give to PFL dogs, is going to make me a better person, a better citizen, and, most importantly, a better father to my son.
