Paws for Life means that I get to make a positive difference in a marginalized dog’s life. Paws for Life means I get to train a rescued dog as a Canine Good Citizen thus increasing his chances for adoption into a loving home. Paws for Life means I get to laugh and be silly between training sessions. Paws for Life means that no matter what kind of day we are having inside these prison walls, we can depend on each other for comfort, understanding and overwhelming love. Paws for Life means I can be me and be loved for it. Paws for Life is saving me too.
