Paws for Life K9 trainer, Eugene

Eugene

Occupation: Dog Trainer

location: Lancaster

I was a troubled young man growing up, bound by alcohol, drugs, emotionally and physically involved with gangs and without any sense of purpose or plan for y life. I took for granted the most important things that meant the world to me, family and life. Ultimately, by the age of 19, the path led me to the worst decision in my life.

Today at the age of 40, I’ve dedicated myself to use my life’s testimony to encourage others to reach for the stars and not taking life for granted.

Paws for Life has been a great encouragement, not only from the skill set that I’ve acquired but through the teaching, love and care of the program, we train rescued dogs, training for PTSD service dogs as well as learning to desensitize hypersensitive dogs in dogs playgroups. Giving these dogs a second chance in society is, in so many ways; similar to my life testimony.

I’m proud to be part of such a giving back program.
