My name is Eric Moffett and I have been incarcerated for 12-years. I joined the PFL program because I love dogs and there are no better companions. Growing up, I had a special dog, “Silver,” that was best friend. He was a silver-lab, and Silver was a smart dog that helped to keep me and my entire family safe and surrounded by love. Sadly, when I was only five-years-old, Silver passed away and it was a pain I shall never forget. However, while painful, it confirmed my profound love for dogs. PFL is an amazing opportunity for me to work with dogs and help them find loving forever homes. Giving back to the community I once harmed is another benefit of this extraordinary program. Also, there’s no question that I’ll be able to grow as a person while working on a team. With love, patience, and my drive to help others, I plan on shining in an already brilliant program
