Paws for Life K9 trainer, Eric A.

Eric

Occupation: Dog Trainer

location: Vacaville

My name is Eric and I have been incarcerated for seven years. I have had dogs most of my life and my female Pit Bull, Gennie, was my most memorable dog. She was display unbridled enthusiasm every time I walked in the door—and she never let me forget that I was loved. Having this experience with Gennie and my other dogs gave me a true affinity for all dogs. When I heard about the dog rescue program here at CMF, I knew I had to be a part of it. I knew that I was joining to help rescue dogs, but I had no idea that also included the opportunity to work on myself as a human being. We sacrifice and place the needs of our dogs ahead of our own and this gives a new perspective in the pursuit of making meaningful amends. Paws For Life will get my best efforts, and in turn I plan on becoming the best version of myself.
