My name is Casey and I joined Paws For Life K9 (PFL) Rescue because I love dogs. As a child, I lived with my grandparents who raised miniature. Although the dogs were theirs, I was the primary caretaker for all the dogs. During that time, I realized how special it was to have a dog in my life. One dog in particular, Red Man, became my best friend and we did everything together. When I heard about the PFL program, I immediately thought about how amazing it would be to help rescue a dog and give someone else the opportunity to build a similar friendship like the one I shared with Red Man. PFL will also allow me to work on myself as a person and give back for the harm I have caused in the past.
