My name is Bruce and I grew up around dogs all my life. The second I found about the dog program, Paws For Life, I immediately wanted to be a part of the program. I saw a great opportunity to be able to work with these wonderful dogs, and I also saw a chance to give back for some of the harm I have caused in the past. Another compelling reason for me to join this worthwhile program occurred when a member of PFL shared about a girl that was a victim in a school shooting in southern California and how she received an Emotional Support Animal (ESA) from PFL. I knew then and there that PFL was a program for me. I would be able share love, empathy, and patience with our dogs—and know that my efforts would in turn be reciprocated to the family who adopts our loving dog.
