I have had dogs my entire life. When I arrived at CMF, I was told they have a dog rescue program, but I still thought it was too good to be true. I tested positive for COVID-19 and was housed with one of the Paws For Life K-9 Rescue leaders, and he suggested that I apply for the program. Needless to say, I immediately signed up, passed my interview, and now I’m happy to be a member of the PFL family. I love being around the dogs and working with experienced trainersI plan on using these new skills to help rescue dogs when I’m released in a couple years. Until that day comes—I plan on working hard to become the best trainer I can be.
