I am grateful to be a part of the Paws For Life program. It has helped my heart in an unlikely place. I used to choose with my head first. After spending time with the dogs that have come from the same place I have… lost, confused, locked in kennels (similar to my cell) hurt and sometimes even scared, they have taught me to look with my heart first, rather than my head. The PFL program has changed me in a way I never expected. It has taught me to be thankful for the little things, to enjoy small moments, embrace your weakness and always trust that God has bigger plans for you
