“To me this program is not only about teaching dogs how to behave, it is about finding myself and becoming a person that at the end of each day, I can be proud of. It is a game changer. Words like patience, kindness and humility fall into order. This is an opportunity to do some good for all my past wrongs. By having patients to teach certain techniques to these dogs, I am learning to be kind not only to the dogs but to all of those around me. Finding humility within the program has made me a better person. It’s helped me to see how precious life truly is. I have found a peace within myself that I have never felt before. Paws For Life helped me to find me, and for that I am truly grateful.”
