The Paws For Life Program has given me a 2nd chance at a real life. A chance to take responsibility for my past. A chance to give back to the world, that I took so much from. To have a dog in the cell, to love you is the best feeling in the world. For 3 hours every day I’m free. Because it’s me and my dog just training and playing. So what does Paws For Life mean for me? It means love, forgiveness, trust, freedom, family, friendship. For 28 years of my prison time was spent on a Level 4, and it was all about wars. Now my time is about loving a dog and getting that dog ready to love a family in the real world. God Bless.
