Jessica Krell Gilman Bio

Jessica Krell Gilman, Director of Development

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Jessica possesses a passion for helping others and promoting humanitarian changes within her community. Growing up surrounded by dogs, her love for animals runs deep but it is the synergy between dogs and people that Paws For Life offers that drew Jessica in. After years of knowing Alex, Jessica joined the team in 2021 as Development Director. As head of fundraising, it remains important to provide a lens into the unique work PFL does in the prisons, on the training yard, and out in the community. Their accessibility of services, their belief in second chances, and their ability to create change saves lives. It's hard to not want to join the PFL movement.

Jessica studied Art History and Italian and counts a stint with Christie's Auction House in Manhattan among her professional experiences. Jessica uses her creativity, overflowing energy and enthusiasm, love for dogs, and interest in social justice and equality to help further the mission of Paws For Life K9 Rescue. She believes strongly in collaboration, guiding the next generation of philanthropists, and aligning action with values.
